Dear Larson Parents,

Welcome to Larson! My name is Brian Zawislak, and I am pleased to serve as the proud Principal of Larson Middle School.  Our school community is united in our commitment to ensuring learning for all through a growth mindset. We firmly believe that every student has the potential for growth and success, and we work tirelessly to provide the support and resources needed to help them achieve their fullest potential.

At Larson Middle School, we hold dear our 4 R’s of Respect, Responsibility, Resilience, and Relationships. These core values are the foundation of our educational philosophy and guide us in nurturing well-rounded, compassionate, and responsible young individuals.  We are proud of the status that Larson Middle School has earned as a National School of Character. This achievement reflects our unwavering dedication to character education, which, combined with our robust curriculum in literacy and mathematics, equips our students with the skills and values they need to become college and career-ready individuals.

As we embark on this educational journey together, we look forward to working with you in a collaborative spirit. Your active involvement in your child's education is crucial, and together, we can create a nurturing and enriching environment for their growth and development.  Those at Larson are deeply committed to reflection. We constantly evaluate and adapt our practices to ensure that we are doing what is best for our students. Your input and feedback are invaluable to this process, and we encourage open and consistent communication between the school and home.

Finally, remember that Larson is your school. Our staff is committed to providing an exceptional educational experience to our students and their families. Working together, we can make the middle years supportive and engaging.

Here’s to an incredible middle school experience! Go Rebels!

Respectfully,
